Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when The Power Guido FC's Long John fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Soeiro having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, The Power Guido FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Enéas Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenílson Toledo in the 19th minute of play. Faustão Arantes hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Carrillos in the 25th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenílson Toledo in the 29th minute of play. Enéas Soeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Long John could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 41st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After 43 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Long John made a kick off. Enéas Soeiro made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute of the match Alonzo Carrillos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Faustão Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Long John in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enéas Soeiro having to make a save. Rafael Carioca took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam Fernandes in the 87th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when The Power Guido FC's Rafael Carioca shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. The audience was convinced that Rafael Carioca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
