After 3 minutes, Cléber Azevedo made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 6 minutes into the match, Eduardo Fontirroig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Murillo Gomes. ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Fontirroig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 10 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Villa. Murillo Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléber Azevedo in the 15th minute of play. When Julio Chicote fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Julio Chicote a yellow card for diving instead. Camilo Freixa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Arthur Borges. The supporters of ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Miralles didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Duda Favoretto hit a great ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Alfredo Ferrant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Ferrant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benny Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfonso de la Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfonso de la Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso de la Cruz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bolivia booed when ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duda Favoretto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tião Tasso made in the 67th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Edson Pombal immediately put the ball in play. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléber Azevedo in the 68th minute of the match. Jefferson Lara made in the 71st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cléber Azevedo. In the 96th match minute, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duda Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. Mario Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Murillo Gomes made a huge save. Many of Bolivia's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Bolivia may have spent more time on the ball, but ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
