Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Sport Club Mavericks's Zézinho Lopez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Sport Club Mavericks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredão Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Sport Club Mavericks's Dre Schipmans slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dre Schipmans showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dre Schipmans in the 21st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zézinho Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Ferrant made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sport Club Mavericks's Fernando Lucas. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sport Club Mavericks's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sílvio Luiz de Godoi in the 28th minute. After 31 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sport Club Mavericks's İslam Tunçbilek. In the 36th minute, Dre Schipmans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sport Club Mavericks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Sport Club Mavericks's Fernando Lucas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hugo Ferrant, made in the 42nd minute of the game. The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 47th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sport Club Mavericks's İslam Tunçbilek. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Puig got free with Marcelo Gröhe in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sport Club Mavericks's Bater Noppe was substituted for Conrado Sanches. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 卓银弘 went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 62 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's 卓银弘 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sport Club Mavericks's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sílvio Luiz de Godoi in the 64th minute. A nice corner shot did that İslam Tunçbilek got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Sanz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, 卓银弘 put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 卓银弘, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Lopez came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fernando Lucas fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sport Club Mavericks's protests and gave Fernando Lucas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Fernando Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Zézinho Lopez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. 91 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when 卓银弘 came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 卓银弘 scored 8-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 9-0 became the score in the 96th minute when 卓银弘 elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Sport Club Mavericks walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
