After 9 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Boyd Kaufman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 13th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Patricio Ugutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Patricio Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 46 in the game by Dale Dolar from a close distance when the talented Dante Lacasa managed to make a qualified save. Mexico's players were relieved.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Joel Gaona kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Eliézer de Carvalho got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The Barcellos Mineiro FC fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Barcellos Mineiro FC's Dale Dolar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Clóvis Vieira hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. A collision led to Barcellos Mineiro FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Amílton Loyola hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Dolar in the 68th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Patricio Ugutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 71st minute of play. The throw-in from Leonardo Leoz in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Barcellos Mineiro FC's Boyd Kaufman. After 85 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patricio Ugutz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barcellos Mineiro FC's Christian de Amorim was substituted for Tang Yang Le. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian de Amorim in the 94th minute of play. Mexico were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
