Peru's Eliseo Mina got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Berke Gümüşsoy took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Rolando Noboa to make any attempt to save it. 36 minutes into the match, AYAZAĞA FK's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Adulfo Antunez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of AYAZAĞA FK's Adulfo Antunez. Adulfo Antunez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41st minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adulfo Antunez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. 46 minutes into the game, Abdulaziz Bender was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AYAZAĞA FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. Abdulaziz Bender kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Muzafer Cannavaro in the 51 minute of the game. 56 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adulfo Antunez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adulfo Antunez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 63rd minute of play. AYAZAĞA FK's Vecdi Baysan was substituted for August Bergendahl. AYAZAĞA FK made a substitution. Atabek Makbul replaced Nathan Felder. Alonso Berganza made in the 66th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Moises Gayoso immediately put the ball in play. AYAZAĞA FK's Adulfo Antunez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save AYAZAĞA FK from getting a goal against them. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
