When Eliseo Noboa fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Eliseo Noboa a yellow card for diving instead. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Säftär Güläliyev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Säftär Güläliyev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edwin 雷林 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Łukasz Zwolinski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when 刘轩鹏 scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 2-0. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nic Verheijd in the 23rd minute of play. After 27 minutes of play, 『挑战者』曾梦想仗剑走天涯's Łukasz Zwolinski made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 31 minutes into the game, 『挑战者』曾梦想仗剑走天涯's Säftär Güläliyev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 35th minute, 『挑战者』曾梦想仗剑走天涯's Nic Verheijd ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 38th minute. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Łukasz Zwolinski sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Łukasz Zwolinski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Łukasz Zwolinski slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Łukasz Zwolinski made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Edwin 雷林 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Nic Verheijd left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Nic Verheijd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Costa Rica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 温弘桦 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute 刘轩鹏 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Säftär Güläliyev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edwin 雷林 went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. 『挑战者』曾梦想仗剑走天涯 had played much better football throughout.
