Valentín Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Remigio Mikelats fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soflov FC's protests and gave Remigio Mikelats a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Soflov FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Remigio Mikelats hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Edmundo Espiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, Valentín Carvallo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Soflov FC's Remigio Mikelats quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Valentín Carvallo made in the 30th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Christian Sancho immediately put the ball in play. In the 31st minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Patricio Salamon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliks Nieruchliwy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Soflov FC's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Salamon came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Milagros Cabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Salamon didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. The tension between the Honduras and the Soflov FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
