Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tigre das Américas's Doriva Meirelles started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Doriva Meirelles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Doriva Meirelles scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doriva Meirelles got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doriva Meirelles in the 16th minute. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Meirelles in the 20th minute of play. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Gualter Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doriva Meirelles in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After 30 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. In the 32nd minute of the match Raphael Madureira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doriva Meirelles. 40 minutes into the match, Doriva Meirelles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doriva Meirelles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Doriva Meirelles struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tigre das Américas.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Venezuela's Alex Chicote quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lu Lin Kuan, made in the 52nd minute of the game. 54 minutes into the game, Tigre das Américas's Doriva Meirelles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. When Doriva Meirelles came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Tigre das Américas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doriva Meirelles couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Doriva Meirelles came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doriva Meirelles's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute of the match Tigre das Américas got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raphael Madureira ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Turgut Tuluk heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Gualter Pinheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Doriva Meirelles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Doriva Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tigre das Américas's Doriva Meirelles. But to his dismay, Doriva Meirelles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doriva Meirelles, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Doriva Meirelles came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doriva Meirelles in the 92nd minute of play. Tigre das Américas's Doriva Meirelles got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
