Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilfredo Benvide. In the 4th minute of the match Formentera got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 龙建烨 ran over to the corner to take the kick. Domingo Urki might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Domingo Urki ran back to his position shaking his head. 龙建烨 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Lautaro Navarro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 杨平帆 made in the 11th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Justino Hondo however managed to control. After 12 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by 龙建烨. 17 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Benvide came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Hondo to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Ocampo. In the 22nd minute 龙建烨 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Wilfredo Benvide received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Wilfredo Benvide slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 24th minute. Milagros Cabal kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Wilfredo Benvide succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 33rd playminute. Honduras's attentive Esteban Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when 杨平帆 made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Formentera defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Seyhan Atlıhan. The Formentera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Seyhan Atlıhan should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Benvide stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Seyhan Atlıhan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 56th minute, Wilfredo Benvide made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After 59 minutes of play, Formentera's Wilfredo Benvide made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Bartuelo in the 61st minute of play. After 63 minutes of play, Formentera's Domingo Urki made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Milagros Cabal hit a great ball. Seyhan Atlıhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Formentera's Wilfredo Benvide nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. Formentera's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 龙建烨 in the 80th minute. It was a well-played corner which 杨平帆 managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 82nd minute Wilfredo Benvide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Urki, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 87thth minute of the game Wilfredo Benvide who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Seyhan Atlıhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Esteban Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Formentera's 龙建烨 got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Benvide in the 94th minute of play. Honduras's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
