The referee showed Alberto Tafalla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. With a little luck, Dogelo's Manúel Bento got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Manúel Bento successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 61 minutes into the match, Dogelo's Oliverios Marcilla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Mexico's goalie and right to Jardel Tande. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Mexico's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Lautaro Mancebo scored 0-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manúel Bento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dogelo's goalkeeper Manúel Bento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71st minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Dogelo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dogelo's Manúel Bento did a great save. 71 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Manúel Bento. In the 80th minute, Mexico's Joel Gaona dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. In the 84th minute Facundo Cadaval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manúel Bento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Tande came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manúel Bento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 87th minute. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Dogelo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tafalla in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manúel Bento saved Dogelo from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Alberto Tafalla put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Manúel Bento. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dogelo.
