Federico Barea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Primitivo Andino made in the 22nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felix Montenegro. In the 26th minute, Agustín Saelices ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Federico Barea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Terremoto FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Federico Barea came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

The wind increased when Shi Ming made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Terremoto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Federico Barea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Federico Barea however easily saved by the left post. In the 55th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Federico Barea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Federico Barea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Terremoto FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Ecuador's Felix Montes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Federico Barea in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-10 via right post in the game's 61st minute. Ecuador's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Federico Barea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Federico Barea. That made the score 0-11 after 67 minutes of play. 70 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of Terremoto FC's Federico Barea. Federico Barea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Terremoto FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Federico Barea, making the score, 0-13. In the 79th minute of the game Camilo Gisbert made a throw-in which Agustín Saelices played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 80th minute of play forced Terremoto FC's goalkeeper Federico Barea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Barea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After some careless play in the Terremoto FC defense, Agustín Saelices kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Federico Barea. The Terremoto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Federico Barea should have stopped the shot. Federico Barea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 87th minute. Agustín Saelices took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Federico Barea. Federico Barea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-15. Terremoto FC's Federico Barea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Terremoto FC from getting a goal against them. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
