Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rodolfo Hanot kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Rodolfo Hanot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Rodolfo Hanot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Racing Comunicaciones's Rodolfo Hanot got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes in the game Radomil Hodyl did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Atilano Blanco. 18 minutes into the game, Faustino Egoitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Comunicaciones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Racing Comunicaciones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Egoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laureano Belasko. Laureano Belasko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 22nd match minute, Racing Comunicaciones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krzysztof Rutkowski to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Franco Di Santo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Apolo Txindoki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laureano Belasko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Maximiliano Celio, made in the 32nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 35th minute of play forced Racing Comunicaciones's goalkeeper Laureano Belasko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laureano Belasko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Laureano Belasko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 40th minute of play. Franco Di Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Racing Comunicaciones got a freekick which was hit by Radomil Hodyl. In the 46th minute Joshua Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Belasko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Racing Comunicaciones getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Radomil Hodyl hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Joshua Secada hit a great ball. Radomil Hodyl made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Franco Di Santo. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Laureano Belasko made a huge save. After 58 played minutes Racing Comunicaciones got a freekick which was hit by Franco Di Santo. Atilano Blanco struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Comunicaciones. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Blanco in the 66th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atilano Blanco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute Franco Di Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Atilano Blanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute Rodolfo Hanot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laureano Belasko came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Venezuela were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Racing Comunicaciones's much stronger midfield.
