Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Devan Eiø tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 5th minute Donovan Burris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Štitáre's Devan Eiø. But to his dismay, Devan Eiø quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Matias Urritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. When Andres Nurm fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Štitáre's protests and gave Andres Nurm a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 27th minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donovan Burris's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. A hard shot 31 in the game by Donovan Burris from a close distance when the talented Benito Sanz managed to make a qualified save. Costa Rica's players were relieved. FC Štitáre's Donovan Burris suffered a concussion in the 32nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 32 minutes into the game, Alexander Carballo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Štitáre the free kick. FC Štitáre's Jozef Kišš was substituted for Donovan Burris. After 34 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. After having played for 40 minutes, Rune Aronsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Štitáre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rune Aronsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Jozef Kišš notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 45 minutes into the match, Jozef Kišš had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jozef Kišš was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jozef Kišš to strike the kick off in the second half. Jozef Kišš scored 6-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jozef Kišš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Štitáre's Jozef Kišš. But to his dismay, Jozef Kišš quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jozef Kišš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When FC Štitáre's Jozef Kišš in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jozef Kišš in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. 81 minutes into the match, Matias Urritz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matias Urritz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. Adrian Ivana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Ivana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jozef Kišš in the 95th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
