Enrique Cristofor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Boni in the 4th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Boni in the 5th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute, Esteve Perico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Loco Cabezon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Boni in the 13th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Galtero having to interfere. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th match minute, Loco Cabezon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Boni to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Leonides Galtero made a huge save. In the 55th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Boni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Cristofor in the 66th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Rodolfo Ieltxu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Boni came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Leonides Galtero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Loco Cabezon's Bruno Bermudez was substituted for Esteve Perico. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Alvarez in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Loco Cabezon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Mendebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Jose Eleder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonides Galtero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Correa, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Cristofor in the 90th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonides Galtero saved Loco Cabezon from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albano Alvarez went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Loco Cabezon.
