Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mauro Otsoa kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's Schorsch Schmalzbauer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Otsoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Aronsson charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Aronsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Schorsch Schmalzbauer scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-1. In the 16th minute, Schorsch Schmalzbauer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 20th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Vänge IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Felix Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciriaco Hernando having to make a save. Ciriaco Hernando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play forced Vänge IF's goalkeeper Ciriaco Hernando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Hernando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Schorsch Schmalzbauer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciriaco Hernando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vänge IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Ciriaco Hernando despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Geva Lia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Hernando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vänge IF's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Hernando came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vänge IF's Zoltán Tálas was substituted for Rune Aspengren. Vänge IF made a substitution. Bruno Giordani replaced Mauro Otsoa. Vänge IF's Markus Albäck was substituted for Schorsch Schmalzbauer. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Axel Aronsson hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute Bruno Giordani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Markus Albäck notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Axel Aronsson hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Ciriaco Hernando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 65th minute. After 67 played minutes Vänge IF got a freekick which was hit by Axel Aronsson. After a defensive mix-up in Vänge IF's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Hernando came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the game, Vänge IF's Markus Albäck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Markus Albäck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Albäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd match minute, Vänge IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernani Vargas to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th match minute, Vänge IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geva Lia to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th match minute, Vänge IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Giordani to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Vänge IF getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Måns Godholm hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Agustín Saelices got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Vänge IF defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciriaco Hernando. The Vänge IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciriaco Hernando should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle, Vänge IF could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
