Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Isaltino Pirani took the kick off in the first half of the match. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Jânio Mendes scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 1-0. Jânio Mendes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Jânio Mendes slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 6th minute. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Jânio Mendes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 3-0. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jânio Mendes in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaltino Pirani. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodolfo Trigo in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Remo Hermes hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 26 played minutes, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Noel Braga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Costa Rica reached it. Isaltino Pirani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Rodolfo Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaltino Piranis short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Isaltino Pirani sent off a good shot on target. When Irreal Madrid's Isaltino Pirani in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. After 36 minutes, Isaltino Pirani made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th minute, Patrick Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 41 minutes, Alan Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Irreal Madrid players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rodolfo Trigo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 44th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Matheus Dionísio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Isaltino Pirani notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isaltino Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Carballo to maneuver through the defense. When Matheus Dionísio came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Irreal Madrid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matheus Dionísio couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the match, Jânio Mendes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jânio Mendes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Isaltino Pirani took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 70th minute. Irreal Madrid made a substitution. Jaime Zonta replaced Patrick Gomes. The supporters of Irreal Madrid booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Costa Rica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! Costa Rica:s Benito Sanz showed great skill when he stopped Adhemar Valadares:s penalty. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Costa Rica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adhemar Valadares was slow to take the kick. During this time Irreal Madrid's players had a chance to rest. Jânio Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Irreal Madrid fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Irreal Madrid's Eusébio Siqueira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Zonta in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Eusébio Siqueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusébio Siqueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. The Irreal Madrid fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Irreal Madrid's Eusébio Siqueira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaltino Pirani in the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th match minute, Irreal Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonsinho Mattos to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Irreal Madrid's zone, Lautaro Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Braga came out of the goal and Lautaro Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, Jânio Mendes notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jânio Mendes's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. When the referee ended the match the Irreal Madrid players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
