Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Primitivo Andino got a throw-in 4 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Felix Montenegro. Giorgian Arrascaeta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match Warren FC - DMZ got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Peder Ferro ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Ladislao Bermudo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play forced Warren FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Bernardo Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Warren FC - DMZ's Giorgian Arrascaeta got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Warren FC - DMZ's Bernardo Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of play. Eusébio Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Giorgian Arrascaeta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 37th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Warren FC - DMZ's Giorgian Arrascaeta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 44th minute, Giorgian Arrascaeta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Warren FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.

Warren FC - DMZ's José Romero was substituted for Bunda Cagara. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Giorgian Arrascaeta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Bernardo Moreira made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giorgian Arrascaeta in the 74th minute of the match. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute Giorgian Arrascaeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Warren FC - DMZ's Bernardo Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 83rd minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgian Arrascaeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Bernardo Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Peder Ferro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 91 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. If Giorgian Arrascaeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 96 minutes, Sydney Guerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Warren FC - DMZ and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 96 played minutes Warren FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Sydney Guerra. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Warren FC - DMZ were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
