With a couple of smart ball manuevers 김 준 in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haji Sarap saved Indonesia from getting behind. In the 26th minute Cakra Nyakmad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 박 서문 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, 조 내 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Haji Sarap was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cakra Nyakmad took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 박 서문. 박 서문 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Indonesia's Haji Sarap played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 김 준 in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 김 준 in the 60th minute of play forced Indonesia's goalkeeper Haji Sarap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haji Sarap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 김 준 in the 64th minute of play. South Korea:s 박 서문 showed great skill when he stopped Warsidi Oktavianus:s penalty. After 70 minutes South Korea's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Phoenix Kante who took care of the corner kick. 73 minutes into the game, South Korea's 김 준 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Haji Sarap made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Indonesia made a substitution. Syahrul Pattinasarani replaced Hanung Sephtianda. Indonesia's Sugih Linggawarman was substituted for Cakra Nyakmad. With a little luck, South Korea's 박 서문 got control of the ball when Sugih Linggawarman tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Indonesia's Sugih Linggawarman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 박 서문. That made the score 4-3 after 81 minutes of play. Sugih Linggawarman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 박 서문 came out and tried to block the shot, but Sugih Linggawarman slotted it home off the left post making it 4-4 in the 92nd minute. In the 97th match minute, Indonesia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haji Bandell to maneuver through the defense. South Korea's 김 엽 couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 98th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Indonesia. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
