Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gualterio Loco. Gualterio Loco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 6th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Loco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 played minutes Quebrachitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Abastas. Gualterio Loco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of the match. Quebrachitos FC's Gualterio Loco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Godfredo Artal was slow to take the kick. During this time Quebrachitos FC's players had a chance to rest. Quebrachitos FC's Gualterio Loco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of play. In the 29th minute Quebrachitos FC were awarded a corner. Godfredo Artal went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Godfredo Artal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gualterio Loco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Agustín Saelices ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gualterio Loco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Gualterio Loco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita scored 0-4 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gualterio Loco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Quebrachitos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-4.

Juan Sebastián Puig scored 0-5 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gualterio Loco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Quebrachitos FC's Gualterio Loco got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Gualterio Loco made a huge save. 64 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gualterio Loco. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Gualterio Loco made a huge save. Quebrachitos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Juan Sebastián Puig scored to the left of an out of position Gualterio Loco, making the score, 0-9. Cristian Sancho scored 0-10 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gualterio Loco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gualterio Loco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gualterio Loco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 95th minute.
