Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. William de Castro started the match with the kick off. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mugurel Zota was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Cercadinho's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Mugurel Zota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abdulkadir Turay showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. In the 28th minute Facundo Cadaval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Zota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Cercadinho's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Mugurel Zota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valiente Venezian kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Cercadinho's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Mugurel Zota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mugurel Zota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Cercadinho's goalkeeper Mugurel Zota had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. 65 minutes into the game, Macos Graciani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cercadinho the free kick. The supporters of Cercadinho booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macos Graciani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cercadinho made a substitution. Edmundo Aparecido replaced Luís Fernando Queiroz. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Macos Graciani got a free kick in the 66th minute. Lautaro Mancebo scored 1-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mugurel Zota, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Izydor Domamir hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 90th match minute, Cercadinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valiente Venezian to maneuver through the defense. After 93 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nando Matorin who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Nando Matorin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Cercadinho fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
