Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Julian Murillo got the match started through his kick off. Silvestre Loi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. The supporters of Peru booed when SV Bad Harzburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jurek Ohrem didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacek Matuch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 11th minute. Luz Tejedor made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in SV Bad Harzburg's zone, Milagros Fraga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacek Matuch came out of the goal and Milagros Fraga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvestre Loi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. Roberto Carlos made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Ksawery Rzeszutko kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Alonso Berganza made in the 25th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Moises Gayoso. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacek Matuch having to interfere. Éthan Pichard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Silvestre Loi sent off a good shot on target. Jacek Matuch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 33rd minute of the match. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jacek Matuch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SV Bad Harzburg getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jurek Ohrem hit a great ball. In the 45th match minute, SV Bad Harzburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Carlos to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Jacek Matuch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

52 minutes into the game, Hermann Viapiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SV Bad Harzburg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. Thanks to some nice moves Luz Tejedor could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Jacek Matuch however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Éthan Pichard threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Efraim Gilabert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. SV Bad Harzburg's attentive Hermann Viapiano managed to snatch the ball when Moises Gayoso made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Jacek Matuch made a huge save. Jacek Matuch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Loi came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacek Matuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute of the match Peru got a corner. SV Bad Harzburg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jacek Matuch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 76th minute of the match. When Kaimo Liiva fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SV Bad Harzburg's protests and gave Kaimo Liiva a yellow card for diving instead. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Julian Murillo. In the 79th match minute, SV Bad Harzburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaimo Liiva to maneuver through the defense. Milagros Fraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Jacek Matuch made a huge save. The corner led Peru's Antonio Tenorio to fire away a dangerous shot which Jacek Matuch despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Ksawery Rzeszutko threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurek Ohrem in the 91st minute of play. A hard shot 94 in the game by Antonio Tenorio from a close distance when the talented Jacek Matuch managed to make a qualified save. SV Bad Harzburg's players were relieved. 96 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Peru's Antonio Tenorio fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The Peru players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SV Bad Harzburg from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
