Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 6 minutes, Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cuervos AFC's Evaristo Roldan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Roldan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofilo Gorka in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cuervos AFC's Evaristo Roldan. Evaristo Roldan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evaristo Roldan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 28th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Roldan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cuervos AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Agustín Saelices was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evaristo Roldan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evaristo Roldan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evaristo Roldan. Evaristo Roldan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 41 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Evaristo Roldan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teofilo Gorka made a kick off. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Evaristo Roldan in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Cuervos AFC's Evaristo Roldan got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Evaristo Roldan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Roldan. Cuervos AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. In the 65th minute, Marcelo Petrigai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cuervos AFC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Roldan came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Teuma Castelletti came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Ramond in the 74th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evaristo Roldan made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Ramond, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Cuervos AFC's Evaristo Roldan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Marcelo Petrigai made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Evaristo Roldan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaristo Roldan made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador played a much better game than Cuervos AFC and deserved their victory. The Cuervos AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
