Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Enrique Cassaretto took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Enrique Cassaretto sped through Uruguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. In the 8th minute, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 13th minute, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 17th minute, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Seco in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg George Forsyth saved CD Municipal from getting behind. The supporters of Uruguay booed when CD Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Buendia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Cassaretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Enrique Cassaretto took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Camilo Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Martino Armona sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Joaquin Gayoso threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Martino Armona this time. The crowd rose to their feet as CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 6-0 after 38 minutes of play. 41 minutes into the game, Tulio Andinyach recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. Tulio Andinyach showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-0. Enrique Cassaretto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. Martino Armona kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. Enrique Cassaretto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto in the 52nd minute of play. George Forsyth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 53rd minute of play. When CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. The corner ended in Martino Armona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso did a great save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Uruguay:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CD Municipal:s goal. Uruguay:s Joaquin Gayoso showed great skill when he stopped Enrique Cassaretto:s penalty. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Enrique Cassaretto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. CD Municipal's Ryota Miyagi was substituted for Enrique Cassaretto. CD Municipal's Peter Haber was substituted for Tulio Andinyach. CD Municipal made a substitution. Oalo Dean replaced Zlatan Molina. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryota Miyagi in the 68th minute of play. Federico Puja hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Francisco Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rdth minute of the game Oalo Dean who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Ryota Miyagi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Municipal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryota Miyagi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Franco hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Oalo Dean kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oalo Dean in the 82nd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Ryota Miyagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Oalo Dean kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Martino Armona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. The supporters of CD Municipal booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ryota Miyagi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Forsyth having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CD Municipal's Ryota Miyagi got a free kick in the 97th minute. CD Municipal were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Uruguay for a fine match.
