Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona made the kick off and thus started the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dênis Loureiro in the 5th minute of play. In the 9th minute of the match, Filipe Nascimento tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Silas Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Flamengo FSCMZ's Aquiles Leonidas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Aquiles Leonidas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Dante Lacasa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aquiles Leonidas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Silas Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silas Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 32nd minute of play forced Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper Silas Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Filipe Nascimento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Silas Carneiro came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Luca Zorita. But to his dismay, Luca Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 47th minute of play forced Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper Silas Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Filipe Nascimento made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Aquiles Leonidas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Silas Carneiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 58th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Flamengo FSCMZ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 62 minutes, Mexico's Joel Gaona got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Silas Carneiro. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aquiles Leonidas during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Flamengo FSCMZ getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Aquiles Leonidas hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Aquiles Leonidas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquiles Leonidas in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper Silas Carneiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Leonardo Leoz hit a great ball. Flamengo FSCMZ's Aquiles Leonidas got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 97 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
