Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. David Batuhin took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 15 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when David Batuhin came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Batuhin in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. David Batuhin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Cuatrodeocho booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Batuhin, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 25 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was David Batuhin who took care of the corner kick. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Batuhin was slow to take the kick. During this time Cuatrodeocho's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in David Batuhin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. After a rather tough play, Cuatrodeocho's Zacarías Font got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 31st match minute, Cuatrodeocho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarías Font to maneuver through the defense. When Cuatrodeocho's David Batuhin in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35thth minute of the game David Batuhin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zacarías Font kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After having played for 41 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Batuhin was the one to do the kick off. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Batuhin in the 54th minute of play. David Batuhin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. David Batuhin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. 67 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when David Batuhin came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Cuatrodeocho's David Batuhin. But to his dismay, David Batuhin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Cuatrodeocho's Iván Villafane was substituted for David Batuhin. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iván Villafane, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Iván Villafane succeeded in the game's 76th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-1. In the 80th minute Iván Villafane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Cuatrodeocho's Iván Villafane sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cuatrodeocho were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ramiro Oliverio took the corner. The corner led Cuatrodeocho's Andy Entrena to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Cuatrodeocho booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cuatrodeocho's Ramiro Oliverio got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rambo Jon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 89th minute. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Iván Villafane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuatrodeocho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iván Villafane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
