After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Luiz Fernando de Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Milanis E.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fernando de Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 32nd minute of the match, Laurgain Ruiz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lautaro Navarro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Laurgain Ruiz, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 34 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Lautaro Navarro was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 38 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Valentín Carvallo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isiah Hinkle got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute Milanis E.C. were awarded a corner. Váldson Saldanha went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Luiz Fernando de Lima got away a dangerous shot.
