Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 1-0 became the score in the 3rd minute when Korhan Türkol elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Korhan Türkol. The audience thought a goal was coming when Korhan Türkol got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th match minute, ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Frances to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Leopoldo Frances got a free kick in the 14th minute. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvestre Cuartio kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Korhan Türkol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Eliseo Furman got a throw-in 37 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Korhan Türkol. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Korhan Türkol took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. A sloppy throw-in by Guillermo Mariano in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Clemente Sindo. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes, ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Esteve Vistruario shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ reached it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 51 played minutes ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ got a freekick which was hit by Ermanno Cinalli. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Korhan Türkol. But to his dismay, Korhan Türkol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 62 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Korhan Türkol. But to his dismay, Korhan Türkol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Clemente Sindo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Guillermo Mariano, made in the 66th minute of the game. ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Korhan Türkol got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute Korhan Türkol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteve Vistruario kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vágner Loyola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 74th minute. 79 minutes into the match, ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Korhan Türkol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Esteve Vistruario was slow to take the kick. During this time ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s players had a chance to rest. Esteve Vistruario made a great header on ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joshua Secada in the 82nd minute of play forced ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s goalkeeper Vágner Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. If Esteve Vistruario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korhan Türkol in the 95th minute of play.
