Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Julian Murillo got the match started through his kick off. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 4th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Salvidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriele Batistuta in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rolando Noboa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Gabriele Batistuta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peru were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Menchu FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. The corner led to Peru's Eliseo Mina getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 31st minute of the match Menchu FC got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucas Martínez Quarta ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Uriel Gorri managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Gabriele Batistuta made the kick off in the second half. Gabriele Batistuta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 53rd minute of play. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Salvidor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 65th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Menchu FC's Primitivo Rocendo was substituted for Peter Söderqwist. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Salvidor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. If Gaston Firmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 79th minute Gaston Firmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rdth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anthony Alvarado kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. In the 85th minute, Anthony Alvarado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Roland made in the 87th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Caetano Linhares however managed to control. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 88th minute of play. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 93rd minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Rafael Gallo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Camilo Salvidor quite easily take care of the ball. In the 95th minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Peru players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
