Bruno Barrett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Curacao's Bruno Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Curacao from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mané Garrincha in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Garrincha in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Bertie Johnson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Balança Rede FC's Mané Garrincha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The audience was convinced that Mané Garrincha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Barrett was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Curacao defense, Mané Garrincha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Barrett. The Curacao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Barrett should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute Mané Garrincha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Balança Rede FC's Guto de Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31stth minute of the game Mané Garrincha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Curacao's zone, Geraldo Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal and Geraldo Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruno Barrett was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Waldemar Harendarski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 34 minute of play. When Balança Rede FC's Mané Garrincha in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curacao's goalie prevented a goal. In the 39th minute, Mané Garrincha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bruno Barrett. The goal made the score 6-0. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Garrincha, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 43rdth minute of the game Mané Garrincha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Kyle Davies made the kick off in the second half. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute Geraldo Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Balança Rede FC's Mané Garrincha in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Balança Rede FC fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Balança Rede FC's Geraldo Gonçalves looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 66th play minutes Mané Garrincha shot 10-0, a short shot which went by Bruno Barrett and just under the crossbar into goal. Emanuel Vergílio might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Barrett. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Vergílio ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Garrincha in the 72nd minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Guto de Brito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Garrincha in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Guto de Brito made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. Geraldo Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute Mané Garrincha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mané Garrincha in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 91 minutes of play, Balança Rede FC's Mané Garrincha made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there!
