Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stor Mønster started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Bertil Fanström notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. If Axel Tasis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute Bertil Fanström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 minutes, Stor Mønster mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juoksengi and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stor Mønster hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Juoksengi's Hálfdan Hálfdánsson got a free kick in the 17th minute. Axel Tasis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Bertil Fanström scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 2-0. Efrain Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Matthias Ekegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Fanström in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Juoksengi's Bertil Fanström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Emil Ekegren charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emil Ekegren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alexander Carballo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Roland Lindström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Steve Yzerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
51 minutes into the game, Matthias Ekegren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Ekegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Fanström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stor Mønster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Fanström in the 64th minute of play. Juoksengi's Martin Odén was substituted for Stor Mønster. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Ekegren in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute of the match, Lautaro Puig got a very nice opportunity to score, but Roland Lindström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 80th minute Steve Yzerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Odén in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Ekegren came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Juoksengi's goalie prevented a goal. Matthias Ekegren took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. When the referee ended the match the Juoksengi players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
