Alejo Meder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the match, KяαdivÄch3 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Alejo Meder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to a score. 0-1 in the 12th minute. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Alejo Meder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alejo Meder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejo Meder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Chorache in the 26th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aquiles Chorache stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Alejo Meder in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aquiles Chorache charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aquiles Chorache the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matias Oalo scored 2-6 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 69th minute. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Alejo Meder threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, KяαdivÄch3 FC's Alejo Meder got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alejo Meder made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Meder having to interfere. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejo Meder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Alejo Meder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. KяαdivÄch3 FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Luis Andino to score against Alejo Meder in KяαdivÄch3 FC's goal. 2-8 after 88 minutes. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejo Meder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than KяαdivÄch3 FC.
