Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Benjamin Cambranes got the match started through his kick off. If Lázaro Donostia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 13 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esteve Pello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Ritchie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute of the match Melquiades Ritchie shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 20th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narciso Pudes's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narciso Pudes helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Desfachatados F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Pudes. Esteve Pello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esteve Pello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Esteve Pello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 30th minute of the match. During the 33rd minute of the match Eleuterio Ulizes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eleuterio Ulizes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Desfachatados F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Ulizes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lázaro Donostia fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Desfachatados F.C.'s protests and gave Lázaro Donostia a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Desfachatados F.C. getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Lázaro Donostia hit a great ball. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Daniel Zorita sped through Desfachatados F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Esteve Pello. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, Desfachatados F.C.'s Esteve Pello got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Esteve Pello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Esteve Pello came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Desfachatados F.C.'s Esteve Pello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Desfachatados F.C. from getting a goal against them. Esteve Pello made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Esteve Pello came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 68th minute. Desfachatados F.C. made a substitution. Javier Piearres replaced Melquiades Ritchie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute of play forced Desfachatados F.C.'s goalkeeper Esteve Pello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Esteve Pello in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 75 played minutes Daniel Zorita rounded Desfachatados F.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-7. Esteve Pello came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Esteve Pello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteve Pello was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 88 minute of play. In the 91st minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Desfachatados F.C.'s Narciso Pudes got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Esteve Pello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Cambranes in the 96th minute of the match. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Desfachatados F.C. throughout the match.
