Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nate Drakenborg, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the game, Isac Muntian recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Isac Muntian showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 12th minute, Isac Muntian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nate Drakenborg in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Aro FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nate Drakenborg in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Aro FC were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Errikos Tsagaris took the corner. The corner led Aro FC's Errikos Tsagaris to fire away a dangerous shot which Benito Sanz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 19 minutes, Sven-Arne Berglund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aro FC and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sven-Arne Berglund kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Errikos Tsagaris cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aro FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Errikos Tsagaris in the 36th minute. Aro FC's Errikos Tsagaris was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benito Sanz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Lino Chago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Lino Chago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th play minute Nate Drakenborg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 5-0. 43 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nate Drakenborg. Aro FC's Nate Drakenborg came free and shot a quick shot against goal 46 minutes in the game, fortunately Benito Sanz had problems saving as it came toward the left post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nate Drakenborg to strike the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nate Drakenborg in the 51st minute of play. If Nate Drakenborg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nate Drakenborg in the 56th minute of play. Nate Drakenborg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aro FC's Isac Muntian got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Aro FC's Nate Drakenborg. But to his dismay, Nate Drakenborg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Nate Drakenborg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Nate Drakenborg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nate Drakenborg in the 85th minute of play. Sune Svartengren struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aro FC.
