Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Berganza got the match started through his kick off. With an all-out effort, Ponte do Carro's Marcos Cotilla threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Simão Boaventura, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 4 played minutes Simão Boaventura rounded Panama's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 7th minute, Simão Boaventura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ponte do Carro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 11th minute Panama were awarded a corner. Abraham Alguacil went to the cornerflag to take it. Dylan Sarmiento charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dylan Sarmiento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dylan Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Armindo Maltez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Ponte do Carro's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Armindo Maltez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregório Jesus in the 21st minute of play. Armindo Maltez came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento. But to his dismay, Isidoro Sarmiento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Ricardo Peixoto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Loukianos Livas came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Ponte do Carro were awarded a corner. Luís Falcão went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ponte do Carro's Luís Falcão to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcos Cotilla despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregório Jesus in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 40th minute of play forced Ponte do Carro's goalkeeper Armindo Maltez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Peixoto in the 45th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Ponte do Carro's Loukianos Livas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Loukianos Livas was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Ricardo Peixoto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ponte do Carro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Armindo Maltez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Miralles in the 63rd minute of play. Manuel Carvalhal charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Carvalhal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the game, Ponte do Carro's Alcino Jesus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregório Jesus in the 75th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Loukianos Livas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loukianos Livas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Ponte do Carro made a substitution. Palmiro Leite replaced Alcino Jesus. 88 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Palmiro Leite came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loukianos Livas in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Loukianos Livas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loukianos Livas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. Ricardo Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. In the 97th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Maltez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ponte do Carro fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
