An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Jerico in the 21st minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Las Momias F. C. booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Miralles didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the game, Hipolito Jerico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Las Momias F. C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. In the 42nd match minute, Las Momias F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Jerico to maneuver through the defense. The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Amadei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A very nice done corner allowed Tomas Berganza to score against Carlo Amadei in Las Momias F. C.'s goal. 1-2 after 55 minutes. Hipolito Jerico scored 2-3 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
