FC LIVERPOOL's Phil Porter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Phil Porter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, FC LIVERPOOL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martial Jay to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Phil Porter. FC LIVERPOOL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that FC LIVERPOOL's Phil Porter managed to reach the ball for a save. The FC LIVERPOOL fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
