Rodrigo Massó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Cirilo Salvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute Cirilo Salvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Massó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of the match. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PLUMIN's goalie prevented a goal. In the 36thth minute of the game Cirilo Salvino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Massó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Massó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Cirilo Salvino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. The corner went over the outstretched arms of PLUMIN's goalie and right to Agustín Saelices. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. PLUMIN's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Higinio Eguzki during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when PLUMIN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Eguzki didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Simon Ferrer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 61st minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Felix Montenegro came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rodrigo Massó could save by the left post. In the 66th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. PLUMIN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Ferrer in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Salvino in the 79th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, PLUMIN's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Rodrigo Massó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Massó. PLUMIN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Higinio Eguzki took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Massó having to interfere. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
