Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nelsinho Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After 6th play minutes Cristian Sancho shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Nelsinho Leite and just under the crossbar into goal. Dorian Quirino charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorian Quirino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute, Dorian Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelsinho Leite saved Vascogoianiense FC from getting behind. When Vascogoianiense FC's Aírton Sousa in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelsinho Leite having to interfere. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Pirani's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Nelsinho Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Pirani got free with Julio Vera in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when João Pirani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nelsinho Leite came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelsinho Leite having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, João Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vascogoianiense FC's supporters rose to their feet, but João Pirani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when João Pirani made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vascogoianiense FC's Nelsinho Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Vascogoianiense FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Vascogoianiense FC's Nelsinho Leite got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Vasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Cristian Sancho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 64th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelsinho Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vascogoianiense FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Nelsinho Leite despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nelsinho Leite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Vascogoianiense FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Felix Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Nelsinho Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After a rather tough play, Vascogoianiense FC's Dorian Quirino got a free kick in the 76th minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Nelsinho Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pirani in the 82nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aírton Sousa in the 87th minute of play. 康渊霆's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Gilmar Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Vascogoianiense FC's Dorian Quirino got a free kick in the 97th minute. Ecuador played a much better game than Vascogoianiense FC and deserved their victory. The Vascogoianiense FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
