Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rene Aires started the match with the kick off. Primitivo Andino got a throw-in 2 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Agustín Saelices. 5 minutes into the match, Loco De Remate's Rene Aires sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rene Aires received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Rene Aires slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. 9 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 16th minute, Loco De Remate's Rene Aires dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 19th minute, Loco De Remate's Rene Aires ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Loco De Remate's Walmir Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Loco De Remate's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Walmir Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Loco De Remate's Rene Aires fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 35th minute of the game Primitivo Andino made a throw-in which Felix Montenegro played forward. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Rene Aires scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 4-1. 39 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walmir Catarinense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 47 minutes into the game, Rene Aires recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Rene Aires showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Loco De Remate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Raphael didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Rene Aires's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 minutes of play, Loco De Remate's Rene Aires made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rene Aires blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Aires in the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Rene Aires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Iratxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Leandro Virila hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in action when he in the 94th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Cristian Sancho charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Sancho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Loco De Remate could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
