Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benoit De Middeleer started the match with the kick off. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benoit De Middeleer in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the game, Honduras's Sebastian Villa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lamar Lee made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Benoit De Middeleer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lamar Lee having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antoni Gotfryd blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. In the 29th minute, Singapore's Santiago Morell dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Benoit De Middeleer sent off a good shot on target. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Singapore's Lamar Lee was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 42 played minutes Singapore got a freekick which was hit by Benoit De Middeleer. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lamar Lee prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Benoit De Middeleer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Singapore's supporters rose to their feet, but Benoit De Middeleer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Honduras's Moises Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lamar Lee was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 62nd minute, Antoni Gotfryd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute, Jithu Hsin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Sebastian Villa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lamar Lee was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 69th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Ocampo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Benoit De Middeleer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Benoit De Middeleer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute of the match Singapore got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benoit De Middeleer ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Singapore's corner Benoit De Middeleer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lautaro Navarro quite easily take care of the ball. 76 minutes in the game 范荣挺 did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Santiago Morell. A hard shot 78 in the game by Edmundo Espiga from a close distance when the talented Lamar Lee managed to make a qualified save. Singapore's players were relieved. 80 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Benoit De Middeleer came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Singapore booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Espinar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benoit De Middeleer in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 89th minute of the game Khai Ching made a throw-in which Santiago Morell played forward. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benoit De Middeleer in the 91st minute of play. Lamar Lee made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 95th minute. Honduras's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
