Peder Solevåg kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 11th match minute, Λstral Villains FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Majstorović to maneuver through the defense. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Theo Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Berntzen in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Theo Machado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Theo Machado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play forced Λstral Villains FC's goalkeeper Theo Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theo Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Λstral Villains FC's Emil Berntzen got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Theo Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Λstral Villains FC's Theo Machado. Theo Machado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emil Berntzen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Emil Berntzen struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Λstral Villains FC. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Luis Andino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Theo Machado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Theo Machado firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Cavalcante in the 56th minute of play. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Agustín Saelices kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Theo Machado. That made the score 0-4 in the 62 minute of play. After having played for 68 minutes, Emil Berntzen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Λstral Villains FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Berntzen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Λstral Villains FC's Theo Machado got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theo Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Felix Montenegro hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Λstral Villains FC's Zbyszek Trzemzalski got a free kick in the 91st minute. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Λstral Villains FC.
