Perrucho FC's Marciano Hever played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 6th minute of play. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Pepillo made in the 13th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eulalio Francis however managed to control. In the 16th minute of the match Eulalio Francis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 19th minute. Jimeno Haimar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Perrucho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Marciano Hever reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Pepillo made in the 67th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eulalio Francis however managed to control. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Marciano Hever tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
