With an all-out effort, Zurlo Team's Benito Sanz threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fulvio Volta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. After having played for 25 minutes, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Tasis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulvio Volta in the 26th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Benito Sanz throw himself and got hold of the ball when Attilio Mammarella in the 34thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The Zurlo Team fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Zurlo Team's Attilio Mammarella looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Antonello Bosso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Puig in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Costa Rica were awarded a corner. Axel Tasis went to the cornerflag to take it. Attilio Mammarella didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-0 via right post in the game's 40th minute. Zurlo Team's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The supporters of Zurlo Team booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Noboa didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Attilio Mammarella was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Fabio Colantonio's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabio Colantonio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Zurlo Team getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Fabio Colantonio hit a great ball. Luka Toni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attilio Mammarella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulvio Volta in the 62nd minute of the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulvio Volta in the 65th minute of play. Zurlo Team's Antonello Bosso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Zurlo Team from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute Costa Rica were awarded a corner. Axel Tasis went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Costa Rica's corner Aaron Alcocer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Antonello Bosso quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Moruga during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 97th minute. Zurlo Team walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
