Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. Nicolas Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 5th minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Lucas Zarco sent off a good shot on target. Salvador Poças blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. 8 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Poças came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, one of SC Luzim:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Luzim. SC Luzim:s Nicolas Neto showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Zorita:s penalty. SC Luzim's Nicolas Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. SC Luzim's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Sebastián Puig in the 21st minute of play forced SC Luzim's goalkeeper Nicolas Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Normando Sanches hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Renato Ferrão came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. After 25 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vítor Bettencourt who took care of the corner kick. The corner led SC Luzim's Tomás Lisboa to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when SC Luzim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bento Azenha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, SC Luzim's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Nicolas Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Renato Ferrão dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-0. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Lucas Zarco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Salvador Poças took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lucas Zarco made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nicolas Neto. Nicolas Neto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Nicolas Neto made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Nicolas Neto however easily saved by the left post. In the 60th minute, António Lamego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after SC Luzim's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SC Luzim's Nicolas Neto did a great save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caetano Cruz during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Luzim's Caetano Cruz got a free kick in the 65th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Nicolas Neto in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Zarco in the 71st minute of play. When SC Luzim's Lucas Zarco, in the 83rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for SC Luzim. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolas Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Agustín Saelices sped through SC Luzim's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicolas Neto. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ecuador players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Luzim.
