A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Joshua Secada hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Teo De Jonge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 11th minute of the match. Salvador Gisbert charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Gisbert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Salvador Gisbert hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Piet Van Bostraeten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Eddy Laporte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 25 played minutes Eddy Laporte rounded Venezuela's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. After having played for 30 minutes, Ferdinand Weijnants managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Vliegplein's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Weijnants was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teo De Jonge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 32nd minute of the match. Piet Van Bostraeten tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Teo De Jonge. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-2 in the 33rd minute. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Ferdinand Weijnants kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jonathan Venegas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Venezuela protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jonathan Venegas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 41st minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping Norberto Oskitz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Endel Darmer was slow to take the kick. During this time KFC Vliegplein's players had a chance to rest. The corner led KFC Vliegplein's Eddy Laporte to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Correa in the 52nd minute of play forced KFC Vliegplein's goalkeeper Teo De Jonge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Eddy Laporte came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 minutes of play, KFC Vliegplein's Ferdinand Weijnants made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, KFC Vliegplein's Octaaf Bosmans got a free kick in the 60th minute. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by KFC Vliegplein's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Teo De Jonge quite easily take care of the ball. When KFC Vliegplein's Eddy Laporte in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. After 67 minutes, Eddy Laporte made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute Eddy Laporte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Eddy Laporte came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddy Laporte in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Eddy Laporte made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-2. 83 minutes into the match, Eddy Laporte notched a goal, 8-2, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Venezuela booed when KFC Vliegplein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaert Vischkens didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 86 played minutes KFC Vliegplein got a freekick which was hit by Rudi Vissenaeckens. Reinaert Vischkens charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reinaert Vischkens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Reinaert Vischkens kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the game, Norberto Oskitz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Salvador Gisbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the KFC Vliegplein players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
