Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinand Weijnants in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Ferdinand Weijnants could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Octaaf Bosmans might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Octaaf Bosmans ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferdinand Weijnants in the 28th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eddy Laporte to make the kick off. Eddy Laporte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd match minute, KFC Vliegplein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddy Laporte to maneuver through the defense. Piet Van Bostraeten hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Patricio Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teo De Jonge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Teo De Jonge came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. But to his dismay, Patricio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 60 minutes into the match, Eddy Laporte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eddy Laporte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Ferdinand Weijnants put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Eddy Laporte hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the game, KFC Vliegplein's Ferdinand Weijnants nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. KFC Vliegplein were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Endel Darmer took the corner. KFC Vliegplein's Teo De Jonge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save KFC Vliegplein from getting a goal against them. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Salvador Gisbert hit a great ball. When Ferdinand Weijnants came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the KFC Vliegplein fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinand Weijnants couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Eddy Laporte came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eddy Laporte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KFC Vliegplein fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
