Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Yin Yang got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Marlin FC were awarded a corner. Aybek Orcun went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 7th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Yin Yang sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th minute, Yin Yang reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-0. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Carlos Alvarez was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yin Yang in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 minutes Marlin FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Agustín Saelices to a score. 1-1 in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yin Yang in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Yin Yang, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 36 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Julio Vera was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Panpili in the 38th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Teobaldo Cilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Dionisio Panpili fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Julio Vera, passed just outside the right post. In the 48th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Juan Carlos Alvarez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yin Yang in the 55th minute of the match. Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Marlin FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yin Yang in the 58th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Sancho could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Juan Carlos Alvarez however easily saved by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dionisio Panpili in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Juan Carlos Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Teobaldo Cilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobaldo Cilio in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. After 82 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ismael Iglesias who took care of the corner kick. In the 82nd minute, Teobaldo Cilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 minutes, Yin Yang made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89thth minute of the game Yin Yang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Juan Carlos Alvarez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After 93 played minutes Marlin FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Ciano. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Marlin FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
