Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 6th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silvio Bazil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Izquierdo in the 10th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Guillermo Izquierdo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvio Bazil having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 16th minute of play forced Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalkeeper Silvio Bazil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 2-0 became the score in the 17th minute when Giovanni Arósio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrico Giammarino, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Izquierdo in the 25th minute of play. Guillermo Izquierdo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 26 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guillermo Izquierdo in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Martin Palermo F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Serafin Manni in the 35th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Giovanni Arósio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Martin Palermo F.C.'s Guillermo Izquierdo. But to his dismay, Guillermo Izquierdo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Giovanni Arósio struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martin Palermo F.C.. After 44 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Guillermo Izquierdo scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 6-0.

The wind increased when Guillermo Izquierdo made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guillermo Izquierdo's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Giovanni Arósio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Guillermo Izquierdo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Patricio Costa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Guillermo Izquierdo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Arósio in the 76th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Arósio in the 77th minute of play. Martin Palermo F.C. made a substitution. Sebastián Izquierdo replaced Guillermo Izquierdo. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastián Izquierdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastián Izquierdo in the 94th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 99th minute of the match Serafin Manni sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Martin Palermo F.C. had played much better football throughout.
