Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Virgílio Trigo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. After having played for 9 minutes, Mai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reko-Recko 03™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Mai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mai's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Reko-Recko 03™'s Virgílio Trigo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgílio Trigo in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 24 minutes, Virgílio Trigo made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgílio Trigo in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Cipriano de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano de Toledo in the 42nd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Virgílio Trigo to strike the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's attentive Salvador Gisbert managed to snatch the ball when Abel de Almeida made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. After 56 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Gisbert. Virgílio Trigo scored 4-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 81st minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano de Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Virgílio Trigo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute, Federico Valverde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cipriano de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Reko-Recko 03™ fully deserved thier win.
