Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Lidon in the 9th minute of play. Valentin Lidon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Ricardo Zorita skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Valentin Lidon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. If Valentin Lidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jesus Carvallo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Valentin Lidon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Lidon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 29thth minute of the game Valentin Lidon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute Ombu were awarded a corner. Jeremias Ugaitz went to the cornerflag to take it. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Valentin Lidon sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zachariasz Ludwiczak during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Zachariasz Ludwiczak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentin Lidon might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentin Lidon ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 44th minute, Valentin Lidon made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Ombu made a substitution. Frans Lundgren replaced Valentin Lidon. A collision led to Ombu getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Godfredo Mendez hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moises Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Frans Lundgren notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Frans Lundgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute Agustín Martegani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Jesus Carvallo got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Jeremias Ugaitz came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Ombu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Ugaitz couldn't finish the play. After 70 minutes, Frans Lundgren made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Moises Fernandino's late challenge caught a Ombu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moises Fernandino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Fernandino to maneuver through the defense. Luis Rubio charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Rubio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Lundgren in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute of the match Ombu got a corner. El Salvador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeremias Ugaitz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Jeremias Ugaitz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita did a great save. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Luis Rubio got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grant Danes in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Lundgren in the 89th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frans Lundgren in the 90th minute of play. There was no doubt that Ombu were the better team. Ombu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
